In Search of Wonder slideshow
Several years ago, a Christian friend of mine forwarded an e-mail with a link to a website with an on-line slide show, The Interview with God (www.theinterviewwithgod.com). Photos of breathtaking landscapes, along with a beautiful soundtrack, provided a backdrop to a hypothetical situation where the author has a chance to interview God. The slide show is God’s response to the questions. I remember how good I felt after seeing it, and forwarded this inspirational presentation to my friends and family. Since then, I have returned to the website many times, especially when I feel my faith is floundering. Familiar with my passion for nature and photography, my friend closed his e-mail with a comment to the effect that he thought I could produce something similar.

Indeed, not long after getting that e-mail I put together my own slide show. However, while the presentation looked and sounded great on my computer, getting it to a reasonable size for web streaming proved to be more problematic. And so it sat. Fortunately, video and audio compression technology (and my own knowledge) improved to the point where I could finally present In Search of Wonder.

This video is one of my expressions of faith, and supplements the essay of the same name that can be found under the Essays link. It is my sincere hope that you will find your own inspiration in watching this, and will forward this to your friends and family.
