Alaska's Inside Passage Galleries
The Inside Passage spans over 1000 miles from Seattle, Washington to Yakutat, Alaska along the coasts of British Columbia and Southeast Alaska. This spectacular scenery of barrier islands, fjords, waterfalls, icebergs, and glacier clad coastal mountains contains the largest temperate rainforest in the world (Tongass National Forest and Great Bear Rainforest). It is a habitat rich in wildlife including bald eagles, brown and black bears, sea lions, seals, porpoises, humpback whales, sea otters, and all four species of salmon.
