Landscape/Wildflower Photography Workshop

This eight-hour outdoor workshop is geared towards intermediate nature photographers interested in photographing landscapes and wildflowers at Summit Lake and other areas of Hatcher Pass. Individual hands-on instruction includes:
  • techniques for sharp photos
  • depth of field and hyperfocal distance
  • composition
  • creative (artistic) blurs
  • panoramas
  • macros
  • focus stacking
  • and more
Participants should have a working knowledge of their cameras and know how to shoot in aperture priority, shutter priority, and manual modes. A tripod with a remote (wired or wireless) shutter release is required. A Hoodman HoodLoupe, polarizing filter, and macro lens are highly recommended. You will receive a link to course material prior to the workshop. You may want to bring a notepad for taking notes.
